S. Partap Singh Bahra Memorial Hospital
S. Partap Singh Bahra Memorial Hospital is a leading Hospital in Phagwara and nearby areas, Established under the secure aegis of S. Lakha Singh Bahra Charitable Trust. The hospital is providing comprehensive and high quality healthcare to all, especially to the needy and poor since 27 years.
It is located on a prominent Chachoki, Urban Estate, G. T. Road of Phagwara – Ludhiana National Highway -1.
It was started on 4th April, 1993 as a Maternity and Pediatric Hospital. At a later stage Medicine and Surgery Facilities were added and lastly Eye Care Unit was added in June,2009 with most modern Equipments costing about Rs. 30 Lacs. Furthermore in January 2016, we have introduced Dental Care Unit with full dental Check- up services.
Now the times Four Departments Gynae, Medicine, Eye Care Unit and Dental Care Unit are running to serve the patients. Our well qualified and experienced Doctor`s team and staff are bound to provide quality healthcare to the patients for their comfort.
The surgeries are undertaken in routine and also in emergency case. Both the indoor and outdoor departments are well maintained. The hospital provides exclusive care to all with humility and on no-profit basis. The poorest amongst the poor are treated free. We are treating 31 inmates of Birdh Ashram, Virk, free of cost. They are not charged even Rs. 50/- as OPD fees. Needy patients are given further concessions in the bills. If any student studying at Govt. Girls High School and Primary School, Chachoki falls sick and injured during School time, they are given free treatment in our Hospital.
After opening of the Eye Care Unit in 2009, we have organized 47 (Forty Seven) free Eye camps in which 16685 patients were examined and 3619 patients were operated upon successfully up Aug,,2022. Dental care Unit was also introduced in year 2016 with most of highly modern equipment.
Our rates of Digital X-Ray, ECG, operations and other investigations charges are far less than the open market.
At present more than 250 patients visit the Hospital daily. The OPD fee is Rs. 50/- only. 10% discount is given on all medicines sold in Hospital Pharmacy. Well equipped Air Conditioned Operation Theatre, Labour Room, General Wards, Private Rooms, Special Rooms as well as Air Conditioned Rooms, Computerized Laboratory, Pharmacy, AC Ambulance availability are salient features of our Hospital.
